About Amway How To Make Money Rewards Our Products Support Stories Get Started

Amway is committed to giving something back to the communities in which we operate. We do this by providing employment and business opportunities, supporting the local community and adopting environmental sustainability.

Amway in the Community

Amway has given global support to the One by One campaign since 2003. This campaign rallies the resources of our company, Independent Business Owners, employees and customers to help millions of children around the world.

Globally, we have helped more than six million children and donated $A97 million to worthy causes. Projects have included helping children with cleft palates in Thailand, providing braille books to blind children in India, building a playground for children in rural Korea and helping mentally disabled children in Japan.

Locally, Amway is the proud principal sponsor of Freedom Wheels. Freedom Wheels provides modified bikes for children with disabilities. This inspirational service allows children with disabilities to ride a bike for their very first time, bringing great joy. Be it riding with their brothers and sisters, friends or with their mums and dads, these individually modified bikes offer freedom to children right across Australia.

Through the support of Amway, Independent Business Owners and employees, Freedom Wheels provides hope, joy and freedom to children with disabilities.
To date, Amway has donated more than $A500,000 to help children with disabilities ride a bike for the first time. More than 600 bikes have been delivered by our service provider, Technical Aid to the Disabled.

Amway & Environmental Sustainability

Amway strives to minimise the environmental impact of its business operations.

PACKAGING
Australia Amway is a signatory to the National Packaging Covenant. This sees us develop and implement annual action plans to reduce, re-use and recycle packaging used within our facilities.

We have conducted extensive research to determine the minimum amount of packaging that can be used to ensure safe transport and storage of Amway products. And, because many of our products are concentrated, less packaging material is required than for conventional goods.

Amway also considers environmental factors in determining what types of packaging materials are used. Our packaging contains significant quantities of recycled materials, and we also use wheat-based loose-fill beads to secure products in our transport cartons are biodegradable. These beads can be reused.

We also encourage all Amway customers to reduce, re-use and recycle. Download or print our household nformation sheet to find out what you can do to minimise waste to-landfill from your home.

FACILITIES
We have reduced our carbon footprint through introducing more energy-efficient lighting, enabling us to able to save the equivalent of 382 tonnes of CO2 per year.
