Handling and Delivery Charges AMWAY prides itself on its low handling and delivery fees. Note that fees vary according to how you order.
*Bulky items are indicated by A pickup (either telephone, net or IVR) can be arranged as long as the order is placed by 10pm (phone), 11.55pm (net & IVR), it can be picked up after 12pm midday the next day. If an IMC phones before 10am Australia time and wants to pick up an order the same day, it has to be keyed as a "TLP" and sent "Express". This order will then drop out when the Express orders are run at 10.15am AU that morning. If it is after 10am and the IMC wants to pick up the order it will not be available until after 12pm midday the next day. If a pickup order is placed by any method on a Friday (except Express before 3pm EST) the order will not be available until Tuesday. The warehouse do not pick orders on a Saturday. Pickup orders are not charged Handling. But if they are sent Express then they are charged the Express fee. Where are Deliveries Made? Our Home Delivery network provides reliable delivery services to the majority of towns throughout mainland Australia and Tasmania, whilst recognising that home delivery may not be feasible in some country, remote, or island locations due to population, distance and isolation. Home Delivery is normally available to accessible addresses in cities and towns where feasible delivery services exist and up to 5km outside the 60kph zone surrounding the town. Please note delivery cannot be made to any PO BOX . If your delivery address is more than 5km outside a town, in a remote area or on an Island, we ask that you nominate a "ship to" address in an area that offers feasible and reliable freight or port services. We will arrange delivery to this address so you can make pick up or forwarding arrangements that best suit you. Backorders A backorder is created when a product is unavailable at the time of ordering but the supplier has guaranteed that they will supply the stock to us within an agreed timeframe. For some items this is not possible and they are therefore classified as TNA (Temporarily Not Available). Backorders will only ship to the address that was attached to the original order. When a backordered item becomes available it will be released, but will remain in our system for up to 21 days before being shipped. If you place an order within that 21day period, the backorder will automatically go with that order. If no order is placed, the backorder will be sent to you after the 21day period has expired. If the backordered item does not arrive at Amway within 45 days of the backorder being placed, the backorder will expire and you will be automatically credited for the item ordered. The item would then need to be re-ordered as the backorder has expired. For credit cards, the account will be re-credited within 3-5 working days. If it was paid for by Direct Debit the credit will be paid into your A/R Bonus account. Any PV/BV will also be deducted at this time. Taking Delivery Orders are delivered between the hours of 7.00am and 6.00pm. In the event that there is no one to take delivery, the driver may, in the interest of security leave a card asking you to contact the driver's depot. To arrange for delivery to unattended addresses we ask that you provide "special delivery instructions" when placing your order. Deliveries to an Alternate Address To ensure safe delivery when you are not available to receive your goods, you may have your order delivered to another address nominated as an alternative "ship to" address. Public Holidays Our delivery service operates reliably and consistently throughout the year. Some public holidays do however require changes to schedules from time to time. You will be advised of any change in schedule well in advance. Product Pickups Sydney & Brisbane: pickup orders will be available for collection two working days after order placement. Your order will be available from midday onwards on this day. A pickup can be arranged via telephone or www.amway.com.au
