To technically engineer a bike it costs approximately $600 - your sponsorship of $600 is helping to bring the bike into motion! Champion fundraising activities and change more lives! Fundraising is limited by your imagination…hold a sausage sizzle, trivia nights, recycle your XS cans, participate in a fun run and so on... spread the word to family and friends. Ensure that you show the DVD to as many people as possible. Share your ideas and we will publish them on the Amway website. Please note that registration is essential in order to keep within the fundraising guidelines, only authorised people (via One by One trust) may fundraise directly for 'FREEDOM WHEELS'. Volunteers
Rollout of the program will require engineers, physiotherapists, friendly faces and people who care. Join the list of volunteers and reach out to families that welcome your embrace! We will be issuing a list of dates for 'Volunteer information sessions' run by TAD in each state - as soon as TAD has these finalised! Please register directly with Amway if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.

To ensure that we adhere to fundraising guidelines, registration of your activity/event is essential. Whilst we want to keep the gift of giving seamless, as an entity we need to ensure we work within fundraising guidelines. We thankyou for your co-operation in this process.
Personal donations do NOT need to be registered in this manner. A donation can be made via methods outlined on the 'donation form'. The following applies to anyone that wants to hold a fundraising event/activity to raise money for FREEDOM WHEELS.

FREEDOM WHEELS® fundraising exploded around Australia since the program launch in April 2007! Thanks to kind hearted people, money is being raised in each state for a worthy cause.
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
CHOCOLATE FRENZY STARTS
A group of IBOs in WA led by Brian and Gillian Potts - were the inaugural team to hold a chocolate fundraiser.
Gillian Potts says, “I came up with this idea of doing a chocolate drive because it was going to get money in fast. When I first saw the FREEDOM WHEELS DVD I thought that [the chocolate drive] could be the start and when I shared the idea with our group I was just overwhelmed with their response and how they wanted to get involved.”
The group raised over $8,300 from personal donations and the chocolate drive for FREEDOM WHEELS in Western Australia. That already means 13 more modified bikes for children with disabilities.
BDS ON WHEELS!
Ken & Chris McGrail held a BDS night with a mission to raise funds for another bike for WA. Chris commented that "we were running our BDS and thought it was opportune to run a fundraiser that night". After watching the FREEDOM WHEELS DVD, generous hearted IBO's dug into their pockets and raised $600! Thanks to all who participated.
QUEENSLAND
BEAUTY RAISES MONEY
In QLD, Emerald IBO Amanda Briggs and Luke Rowlinson also wanted to raise community awareness for the cause, so they held an E. FUNKHOUSER™ makeup day. They paid for E. FUNKHOUSER pro team to do one-on-one consultations for the 50 people who attended.
Amanda also had TAD QLD CEO Maureen O’Brien come in as a guest speaker at the event. All retail profits were donated to Freedom Wheels which resulted in a donation of $790.
NEW SOUTH WALES
CHOCOLATE FRENZY CONTINUES
The Amway social club lobbied staff at Amway Australia and raised $2387 for FREEDOM WHEELS. Money was raised from a gold coin donation at a BBQ held in earlier this year and from sales of fundraising chocolates. Staff purchased the chocolate purely to raise money for the kids!
SOUTH AUSTRALIA
WALKING FOR WHEELS…
A team of dedicated IBO’s walked for wheels in the CITY TO BAY fun run in Adelaide. Aster Gomes and his wife Nina of West Beach, have led fundraising activities to enable the programme ahead of schedule. “Nina and I have been Amway IBOs for 30 years and have always supported charity organisations through our work,”
Mr Gomes said. “We started organising a fun run from Adelaide City to Glenelg, and over time recruited more and more people to get involved to raise the money required to establish Freedom Wheels here in South Australia.”
Along with the support of the local community, luck continued for the group when Charles Sturt Councillor, Gerard Ferrao heard about their inspiring fundraising work and contributed a grant of $1,800 towards this much needed programme for the community.
Joy Barrett, CEO of TADNSW says the national rollout of the Freedom Wheels programme would not be possible without the support of Amway and its IBOs. “The $10,000 donation will support assessment clinics for the modification of around 16 bikes in the Charles Sturt area,” Ms Barrett said. “It is a remarkable achievement.”
The money raised was officially presented to Freedom Wheels on Saturday 20th October at the Mount Barker Golf Club. The fundraising group was joined by Gerard Ferrao and members of the local community to celebrate their contribution.
