Organic and Sustainable Farms

The best supplements begin with the best plants, which is why NUTRIWAY® is unique.

NUTRILITE® is the only global manufacturer of vitamins, minerals and dietary supplements to harvest and process plants grown on its own certified organic farms.

Organic farms are the best natural source for plant concentrates that are rich in nutrients and minerals.

Our bio-intensive farming practices emphasise sustainable agricultural practices and responsible farm management to build soil health and plant nutrition. Chemical pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers are not used. We use only natural sprays approved by certifying agencies in combination with other bio-intensive techniques.

Statement on GMO

At Amway (Nutrilite), we have always been committed to creating supplements with natural ingredients. That
is why we are committed to being a non-GMO brand. Our products comply with or exceed all global GMO
labeling requirements as well.

This is an intentional process that includes:
1. Use of non-GMO plants that have not had their genetic material (DNA) altered in any way.
2. Careful farming practices that minimize the potential for trace amounts of genetically modified material
unintentionally getting mixed in during the growing and harvesting of raw ingredients. These practices include:

a. Being able to trace the material from seed, through harvesting, to raw material and finished good
b. Creating buffer zones around crops that minimize “drift” of pollens and seeds from GMO crops
carried by wind, birds and other animals.
c. Keeping all farm and production equipment for non-GMO plants only.
d. Using natural barriers, such as planting upwind from neighboring farms.
e. Staggering plantings to be off-cycle with neighboring farms.
f. Maintaining good working relationships with neighboring farmers and monitoring whether they are
growing GMO crops.
3. The ability to trace raw material production and transport of the material to the finished good producer.
4. Verified data collection on each product lot (i.e. batch)
